Where #Amwriting This Week* The Bean NYC

I prefer to do most of my writing during the evening hours, mostly because I don’t wake up until 2pm. Don’t judge me! I think I live on the wrong continent, in Athens my head hit the pillow at 9pm each night. It was a little embarrassing and threatened my street cred. I had to assure my friend’s mom (who was our host) that I was indeed a bad influence on her daughter. Didn’t want her to think we were wasting our twenties sleeping.

Now that I’m back in NY, The Bean is great place to catch up on my writing after grabbing a latte and an amazing chocolate frosted cupcake, I took advantage of their free WiFi and window seating.

Dog friendly. They leave out a bowl of water for pups or thirsty and confused hipsters.

I really admire the way they run their business by showing their customers appreciation (even writers!) read about how they stood up to Starbucks here!
