“Oh yeah! You’re that traveling-indie-writer-chick!” Is how I’m now greeted and remembered. Which isn’t so bad–I’ve been called worse.

Traveling*

I’m based in New York City, but I travel out-of-state once a month and internationally every two months. I’m constantly in search of the perfect cup of coffee and a coffee shop that’s a replica of Central Perk on Friends.

Indie*

Decided to self-publish my books and blog about what I love. I’m also a big supporter of indie businesses (reason behind Writer’s Retreat), artists, writers,musicians, & designers.

Writer*

I write stuff.

I love both sci-fi and fantasy due to the fact that I have a short attention span and books in these genres are able to hold my attention for more than a chapter. I love novels that introduce a sci-fi or fantasy element in to the plot in a realistic or almost mundane way. Recently released favorites are The Magicians and The Discovery of Witches. They inspired me to finally put the stories in my mind on to paper.

I currently review books and write a column for IndieReader.com titled Reader’s Retreat.

Chick*

You’ll get occasional doses of my love of fashion & all things glittery. You’ll also get to read a few stories about my life as a single chick living in New York and traveling the world!
