Thirty Before Thirty

As I get closer to the ripe old age of thirty I feel a sense of urgency that I can’t explain. I’m sure that I don’t have to because everyone has, is or will experience this feeling.
Aah the end of my 20s (in about 2 years) will be a relief. Nowadays people don’t seem to take you seriously until then. In the 50s, I would be the older housewife that the new girls on the block would come to advice.
I’d look down at them with my chin lifted and a cigarette tucked in the side of my rouged lips and say something like “Honey, wait til ya my age.”
I digress.
I am a list maker. I make lists in my sleep. When I discovered the Notes App in the iPhone I nearly passed out. So I am creating a list, not really a bucket list because hopefully I won’t croak when the clock strikes midnight on July 23rd.
Here is a (running) list of 30 countries that I would like to visit and activities that I’d like to do in these locations.
Please feel free to leave any suggestions!
1. Surfing in Costa Rica
2. Hiking in Machu Picchu
3. Climb the pyramids in Egypt & sail on the Nile
4. Shopping in Morocco
5. Skiing in Dubai
6. Party in Ibiza
7. Write in Switzerland
8. Snorkeling in Fiji
9. Bike tour in New Zealand
10. Film a movie in Malta
11. Sun bath in Bali
12. Gamble in Monaco

You should consider “The Camino de Santiago de Compostela”. Its not on top of most bucket lists, but its on mine
. I bet you will be enlightened with your writing…
By the way, i am simply devouring your blog. I love your travel section, especially your coverage of Nigeria.
